Multi-State (UTAH/VA) Concealed Carry Our 4-hour multi-state Concealed Carry class helps you to maximize your legal carry states AND have a backup in place for your Virginia CHP in the event our state drops reciprocity with others. The Multi-state class includes content and certification of completion for both Virginia Resident and Utah Non-Resident applications. Classroom only.

Handgun Fundamentals - Mod I SafeSide's Module One training program is designed to offer beginning and newly developing shooters an opportunity to improve their shooting skills and become more comfortable with their firearms. Beginning shooters will learn and intermediate shooters will review/learn the basic fundamentals of pistol shooting in a classroom setting and reinforce those fundamentals in a live fire session in one of our ranges

Handgun Fundamentals - Mod II SafeSide Module II training reinforces the basic fundamentals from phase one and incorporates realistic tactical responses to real life situations. the focus is to hone the shooters` skills and confidence through shooting drills and trouble shooting malfunctions. The instructors will be able to focus on any issues the shooter may have and provide valuable 1 on 1 instruction to assure the issue(s) are resolved.

Private 1-on-1 Instruction Our Private Instruction options offer the shooting enthusiast the opportunity to receive individualized training in the art of the handgun. This will allow the individual(s) the ability to become more proficient in the use and application of their firearm. This is not a “Tactical” shooting class, but rather a chance to become better with the use of firearms by focusing on the principles of marksmanship and safe gun-handling skills.

Firearms Safety for the Deaf and Hard of HearingThis course meets the requirements for the Virignia Concealed Handgun Permit application. The course is taught by an NRA Instructor. ASL interpretter provided.

Church Team Range Requalification This is a handgun requalification course for those who have successfully completed our Church Safety and Security Training and need to complete their yearly handgun recertification course. Participants will need to complete a timed course of fire (60 rounds), from the low ready position, achieving at least an 80% passing score to be recertified. .

FREE! Church Safety & Security Every Sunday and throughout the week, many churches are faced with some level of “out of the ordinary” events. The vast majority of these events are handled by the church staff of volunteers including ushers, greeters and safety and security teams. In today’s world, increasing numbers of churches are developing a more formal approach to protecting life and limb. This is a ninety minute church safety informational session.

Firearm Maintenance & Cleaning Get hands-on with your firearm and our staff members who will show proper techniques for cleaning and maintenance. We'll even provide the cleaning instruments, solvents, oil, etc to get the job done right! Ask us questions about different firearms (pistols, revolvers, rifles, shotguns, suppressors, etc), see some of the tricks of the trade and take notes or pictures during the process to document for the next time.
