FIREARM SAFETY SEMINAR AND CONCEALED CLASS (ROANOKE)

Since we opened in 2012, we've been committed to Firearm Safety... heck - its in our name! Now, we're sharing the message about responsible gun ownership with our community by offering free informational seminars that cover safe gun handling, proper gun storage, concealed/open carry regulations, and personal liability.

Elmwood Park Amphitheater offers a convenient, downtown spot for us to provide educational information to gun-owners and non-gun-owners alike.  You'll hear from SafeSide Certified Instructors and representatives from USCCA plus, you'll have an opportunity to learn more about firearms training classes, USCCA membership, Suicide Prevention (presented by Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare) and more. Free Gun Locks will be available to attendees.

Each session will cover the same content - so choose one of the four times that works the best for you and don't forget to share with your friends and family so that they can learn or review the basics of gun safety.  

If you've been thinking about getting your Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP), you will have the option at the event to pay a reduced fee ($25) and get your Certificate of Completion and Permit Application.

Per Roanoke City Code and our existing policies for basic firearms safety classes, no firearms will be permitted in the Park.
