SafeSide Lynchburg Membership Summary
- All memberships are for a minimum 12-month term.
- Members must provide notice 30 days prior to their next billing date in order to cancel.
- Membership payments can be set up for either monthly or annually.
- Monthly memberships must be set up as a recurring transaction, to be automatically drafted every 30 days.
- New members are required to pay for the first month at the time of registration.
- Monthly memberships require a $50 registration fee to be paid in advance.
- Memberships 30 days past due will be cancelled. Reinstatement requires payment of dues, reinstatement fee of $25 and payment of first month of new membership.

Annual fee for extra household members $50 (per person, per year payable at beginning of term)
Membership Definitions
Annual Memberships: Members will pay for the full year at registration. Therefore, the $50 registration fee will be waived.
Monthly Memberships: This is still a minimum 12-month commitment, but members will need to pay monthly. A recurring payment method must be set up through SafeSide Range & Training at the beginning of the membership.
Family Memberships: Family is defined as spouse or children living in the same household. If a family membership is changed to one member, the monthly payment will change to the “individual” rate in effect at the next billing cycle.
Right of Rescission – New members have seven days after signing this Agreement to cancel their membership without penalty. Membership and/or registrations fees are non-refundable.
1. Credit Card Authorization – Members authorize SafeSide to charge their credit or debit card for the agreed upon prices of their chosen membership on a regular basis.
2. Freeze Policy for Members – Members may put their membership on hold, in one calendar month increments, for up to three months (3) calendar months per year for a fee of $25 per (monthly) freeze request. Notice of a freeze request must be made in person, and the freeze request must be completed at least 3 working days prior to the first day of the month to be frozen. Members will not be billed for membership during frozen months. Billing will resume automatically upon end of freeze. The current membership agreement will be extended by the number of months frozen.
3. Late Payment / Declined Credit Card Fees – A $15 late payment will be due and payable for payments received more than 5 days after due date. A returned check or declined credit card/debit card will result in a fee of $25. Members who are not current will not be allowed to use range facilities until all payments are current. SafeSide cannot be held liable for any bank fees incurred due to insufficient funds. If any of your billing information changes, please notify SafeSide staff immediately.
4. Cancellation of Membership by Member – A member may cancel his/her membership at any time with at least 30-day notice. Please remember partial days are not permitted. If a member cancels on or after the 2nd of any month, then a payment will still be due the following month. There are no refunds for monthly membership fees. Cancellation fees apply to both monthly and annual memberships.
5. Cancellation Fees – Based on the membership level, there is a cancellation fee equivalent to 3 months. (Fees listed below have been calculated 3 months X monthly amount of current membership)
Diamond Membership: $449.97
Standard Membership (Individual): $104.97
Standard Membership (Family): $164.97
Hero Membership (Individual): $74.97
Hero Membership (Family): $119.97
6. Refunds – Refunds are given to annual members, depending on time left on membership. Cancellation fees must be paid to receive a refund.
7. Supervision of Children – Children must be 10 years of age or older to shoot on the range. A parent or legal guardian must give permission in writing on the waiver. All children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children 10 years old or above may participate in training, but they must be accompanied by an adult while training is going on.
8. Conduct – SafeSide Lynchburg is committed to the health, safety, welfare of each of its members and staff and will not tolerate unreasonable, threatening, obscene, harassing, indecent, or illegal behavior. SafeSide Range & Training has the right to judge behavior and respond accordingly. This right includes, but is not limited to, termination of membership without refund of any member engaging in unacceptable behavior.
9. Damages – Members shall pay for any damages to SafeSide Lynchburg property which results from the willful or negligent conduct of member, member’s guest or dependent child.
10. Rules and/ Regulations – Members who do not observe SafeSide Lynchburg rules and regulations or who abuse equipment in any fashion will be asked to leave for the day. The management reserves the right to terminate membership of anyone who refuses to observe any of SafeSide Range & Training’s rules or regulations without refund. Not all rules and regulations are listed in this agreement. SafeSide Range & Training reserves the right to add, change or remove rules, conditions of membership, opening and closing hours, and all other services and facilities offered.
11. Miscellaneous – This Agreement contains the entire agreement between the parties, and supersedes any prior written or oral agreements between them concerning the subject matter of this Agreement. The provisions of this may be waived, altered, amended or repealed, in whole or in part, only upon prior written consent of all parties.
Member has read, and fully agrees to the term of this Agreement and understands and agrees that by signing this Agreement (which contains a waiver, release and hold-harmless agreement), Member has given up considerable future legal rights. Member has signed this Agreement freely, voluntarily, under no duress or threat of duress, without inducement, promise or guarantee being communicated to him/her. Member certifies and warrants that he/she is 18 years of age or older and mentally competent to enter into this Agreement. If any portion of this Agreement is deemed illegal, void or unenforceable, then the remaining agreement shall remain in effect.
