Designed from lessons taken from the modern battlefield, the Improved Modular (IMOD) stock provides a highly practical and functional design. his buttstock is constructed from the finest materials, making it capable of withstanding the most rugged demands. It is crafted from impact- and temperature-resistant polymer specially blended for VLTOR stocks, and has waterproof side battery compartments large enough to hold three CR123 or two AA batteries in each. It comes pre-assembled with strike plate and rolled/angled buttpad with wide traction area. The commercial IMOD buttstock has standard military and quick disconnect swivel sockets accessible from both sides. With the buttpad, this stock is 6.26" long (at centerline of tube). It is 9.5 oz. with a 10.25" collapsed LOP and 13.5" extended LOP. (Command)
