The Super Redhawk Alaskan features a corrosion-resistant stainless steel finish and the patented Ruger transfer bar mechanism, which provides an unparalleled measure of security against accidental discharge. The 44 Magnum model also accepts all factory 44 Special cartridges, and the 454 Casull model also accepts all factory 45 Colt cartridges. The Hogue Tamer Monogrip contains an internal recoil cushion positioned under the web of the hand, and the peg-style grip frame easily accommodates custom grips. (Command)
