You'll find yourself amazed at how enjoyable it is to shoot a pistol that's so small and so powerful. The XD-S 4" Single Stack turns the XD-S platform into a mid-sized pistol. The sub-compact frame extends to full-size length with the X-Tension magazine which adds capacity and controllability for your time at the range. Use the flush fitting magazine for concealed carry, and you'll forget it's there. It has a dual-spring recoil system with a full length guide rod, fiber optic front sight with dovetail 2-dot rear sight. With an OAL of 7", it has a 4" forged steel barrel with Melonite finish, and a 1:16" twist. It is 4.4" tall and 23.5 oz. with compact mag; 5" tall and 24.5 oz. with extension magazine. This model has a black polymer grip/frame and a forged steel slide with a black melonite. It includes two stainless steel magazines - one flush fit 5-round and one Mid-Mag X-Tension for a 6-round capacity. (Command)
