DCJS 09R - ADVANCED HANDGUN COURSE (ROANOKE)

Course Time: 8 Hours

1. Legal authority and decision-making 4 hours.

2. Handgun safety, marksmanship and skill development. 4 hours

This class is required by DCJS, including a Range Qualification, in order to renew your Advanced Handgun (09E) firearms endorsement for Personal Protection Specialist (32E) armed license. The 09E Advanced Hangun course is a prerequisite to the 09R course. The training begins with an 8-hour classroom session and concludes with a re-qualification course of fire at our range. The cost of the course is $120 which includes your range fees. Each student is responsible for providing a minimum of 25 rounds of ammunition. However we recommend no less than 50 rounds.You must bring or purchase your own eye/ear protection. Free firearm rental is also provided, based on availability.
