DCJS 08R SHOTGUN REQUAL (LYNCHBURG) (LYNCHBURG)

Shotgun requalification - 3 hour (LYNCHBURG LOCATION)

Prerequisite: Be a minimum of 18 years old or accompanied by a legal guardian and a United States Citizen or legal resident alien of the United States.  If seeking DCJS certification, must have previously taken the initial 8R shotgun entry level class and currently shotgun certified.

Topics Covered: Safe and Proper Use and Handling of the Shotgun, Nomenclature, Positions, and Combat Loading Techniques, Decision-Making, and Shotgun Retention and Proper Use of a Sling, and range qualification. To qualify on the range, a shotgun and five rounds of either 00 buck or slugs will be needed.
